AGENT GUIDES

What should you prepare before starting an AI agent pilot?

Start with one workflow, approved source material, a responsible business owner and a small set of representative test tasks. Define what the agent may do, what requires approval and what success will mean before connecting production systems.

Preparation Worksheet

Six inputs for a scoped discussion.

InputWhat to prepareWhy it matters
Business problemOne repeated bottleneck and the team affectedKeeps the pilot focused
Example workRepresentative enquiries or tasks, anonymised where neededSupports realistic evaluation
KnowledgeApproved documents, owners and known gapsEstablishes the answer boundary
AccessSystems involved and permitted read/write actionsPrevents unintended authority
ReviewA responsible reviewer and escalation conditionsPreserves human accountability
AcceptanceAn agreed test set and measurable criteriaMakes the result assessable

Choosing the Product

Match the workflow to the product.

  • EAS: customer enquiries, product answers and structured lead handover.
  • ETA: enterprise knowledge, expert review and authorised workflows.
  • ETA-ONE: business facts, exceptions, decision preparation and executive follow-through.

For an EAS pilot, acceptance could consider answer support, required-field completeness and correct escalation. For ETA, consider source traceability and permission behaviour. For ETA-ONE, consider whether issues reach the right owner with an explicit next action. Thresholds are agreed for the project, not assumed universal benchmarks.

Data and Approval

Do not send confidential datasets through an initial enquiry form. Agree a suitable transfer method and access scope first. High-risk personnel, funds, legal, quality, regulatory and safety decisions remain with the responsible people.

This is an AIagent guide based on the pilot process and product architecture, not a report of customer outcomes.
